Projects we have been working on recently @ litoria consulting:

  • Brisbane Racing Club (WATPAC)

By utilising the latest technology in acoustic recording devices, litoria ecologists were able to conduct a targeted survey of bird species at Doomben and Eagle Farm racecourses. Specialised acoustic software  allowed for better detection rates and sampling efficiency of migratory bird species utilising the site. This analysis comprised just a small part of the Ecological Assessment Report to be prepared by litoria consulting.

  • Walkers Point, Bundaberg (Core Architecture)

Utilising GPS technology and survey equipment, litoria ecologists were able to accurately assess the extent of vegetation communities affected by a proposed road development . This assessment formed the basis of vegetation management advice prepared by litoria consulting.

  • Bruce Highway, Calliope

GPS technology, botanical survey and spatial analysis of  an array of historical and recent aerial photography, allowed litoria ecologists  to accurately map the extent of remnant vegetation and regional ecosystems as part of a Property Map of Assessable Vegetation (PMAV) submission prepared by litoria consulting.

  • Pearson Road, Yatala (Pearson Road Industrial)

Litoria ecologists have prepared and submitted an Open Space Management Plan (OSMP) for an industrial subdivision comprising a detailed report incorporating numerous environmental components, such as vegetation management, civil works, rehabilitation, landscape and fauna management.
