Projects we have been working on recently @ litoria consulting:
National Broadband Network (NBN) – Property Vegetation Management Plans
Environmental scientists at Litoria Consulting are continuing to work on the delivery of several Property Vegetation Management Plans to form part of development applications for proposed NBN fixed wireless infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland. Our team of scientists have utilised a variety of environmental consulting disciplines in continuing to deliver each stage of this project including; desktop assessment, botanical assessment and spatial analysis of environmental values present on the proposed development sites.
The purpose of each PVMP is to assess impacts to vegetation as a result of the proposed infrastructure. By conducting thorough botanical and desktop assessments, environmental scientists at Litoria Consulting were able to identify all potential impacts to vegetation and demonstrate that each development site complies or could be conditioned to apply with the Regional Vegetation Management Code.
Millers Road, Underwood – Environmental Assessment Report
The environmental team at Litoria Consulting have recently completed work on an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) as part of the development application for a proposed subdivision of land located at Millers Road, Underwood. Ecologists at Litoria Consulting conducted a detailed botanical survey, impact assessment, code assessment and spatial analysis of site features in order to assess the environmental values present on the development site.
The purpose of the EAR was to assess impacts of the proposed development on identified environmental values and make recommendations on measures to avoid or mitigate any impacts on the environment.
