Projects we have been working on recently @ litoria consulting:

  • New Farm Park Cafe (Brisbane City Council)

Litoria ecologists have been assessing the environmental issues associated with a cafe redevelopment and a new kiosk located within Brisbane’s iconic New Farm Park. Our scope of services included assessment of impacts on marine plants within the Brisbane River and ensuring the protection of park vegetation in accordance with Australian standards.

  • “Parklands”, Little Mountain (Churches of Christ Queensland)

The Parklands integrated care facility project is one of the first ever development projects to be designed and assessed under the Queensland Government’s “Green Door” policy for exemplary sustainable development. Our ecologists have been successfully appointed as part of the design team and are currently completing preliminary site investigations.

  • Murphys Crossing Road, Nundubbermere

Through the use of GPS equipment and historical and current aerial photography, litoria ecologists were able to conduct an accurate field survey of the various vegetation communities present at this site. This vegetation survey along with other analysis tools will be used as part of a Property Vegetation Management Plan (PVMP) to be prepared by litoria consulting.

  • City Fleet, Wacol (Brisbane City Council)

Litoria consulting has been commissioned on behalf of Brisbane City Council to conduct an environmental approvals audit on it’s newly proposed City Fleet facility at Wacol. The audit requires an assessment of the councils current approvals and provide advice and recommendations as part of a Compliance and Approvals Strategy report to be prepared by litoria consulting.
