Projects we have been working on recently @ litoria consulting:

Environmental impact of new infrastructure, Thornlands

Our client was faced with the challenge of finding a suitable location for new sewerage infrastructure on a highly constrained site. Using quantitative methods, Litoria’s ecologists undertook an environmental impact assessment of three alternative locations. The outcomes of the assessment clearly identified the location, which minimised ecological impacts and allowed for the assessment of the cost-benefit of the alternative locations.

Planning scheme submissions, Moreton Bay Regional Council

We were approached by a number of clients to make submissions on the draft Moreton Bay Planning Scheme. Our scientists identified a range of measures which would:

  • Reduce regulatory burden and avoid increased building costs, while achieving an acceptable level of protection from bushfire risks
  • Improve the accuracy and confidence of environmental overlays; providing for improved nature conservation and planning outcomes.
